DMCA and copyright
Last updated September 2026
The short version
We store no files and publish no conversion output, so there is nothing converted for anyone to take down. If something on our own pages infringes your copyright, write to contact@kodeelite.com and we will remove it.
Why a converted file cannot be taken down
A takedown notice asks a host to remove material it is making available. SwiftConverter makes nothing available. A file you drop here is either converted in your own browser and never sent anywhere, or held in server memory, converted, returned to you and discarded. There is no stored copy, no account, no gallery and no public URL. Nobody else can reach what you converted, because it no longer exists once the response is sent. That is described in full on the privacy policy.
What a notice can apply to
Our own content: the words on these pages, the comparison tables and measured figures, the blog articles, the logo and the images we publish. If we have used something of yours without the right to, that is a real complaint and we want to hear it. It is also the only kind of complaint we are able to act on.
What to include
So a complaint can be acted on rather than sent back for detail, a notice should carry the elements US copyright law asks for:
- Identification of the work you say is infringed.
- The URL on this site where the material appears, specific enough for us to find it.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send it to the address below. We aim to respond within five business days, and we remove anything we cannot show we had the right to use rather than argue about it.
If we remove something by mistake
Tell us. If we took down material you supplied and you believe the removal was wrong, reply to the notice we sent you with your contact details and your reasons, and we will look again. Because there are no user accounts and no public uploads on this site, this is a rare case rather than a routine process.
A warning worth printing
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under section 512(f) of the US Copyright Act, including costs and legal fees. Please be sure before you send one.
What you agree to when you convert
The obligation runs the other way too. By uploading a file you confirm you have the right to convert it, which is the first line of what you may not upload. We cannot check that and we do not try to, because checking would mean looking at your files.
